Crown Communications Promotes Two to Vice President

Charlotte, N.C., Nov. 17, 2008 … Chantal Oberoi and John James have been promoted to vice presidents for Crown Communications, company president Kathryn Blanchard announced.
 
“Chantal and John provide valuable management for our team, and we are excited about the future of our firm with their leadership,” said Blanchard.

Chantal joined Crown in 1999 after graduating from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a degree in journalism. Her responsibilities at Crown include writing, editing, event-planning and collateral development. As vice president, she will direct client service for Crown, drawing on her nearly 10 years of marketing communications experience.

John joined the Crown team as art director in 2006, bringing more than 10 years of experience in print and media design to the management and creation of Crown’s design projects. He is a graduate of Appalachian State University, and his expertise ranges from identity design to web and print media. As vice president, he will be involved in consulting on a variety of Crown projects, in addition to his existing role as head of the Crown graphics department.
